Royal Scam is an enthusiastic group of versatile and talented musicians whose professionalism will guarantee success at any event. Since “Big Chris” Lams formed the band in 1992 we have played hundreds of  gigs all over South East England.

The Music

Royal Scam  The emphasis is on classic dance music from 60s to the present day from such artists as James Brown, Tina Turner, the Commitments and Stevie Wonder.  But this band offers something for everyone.  Very experienced professional and semi-professional musicians from diverse backgrounds add elements of soul, funk, rock and jazz to create a distinctive high-energy sound.  All numbers are carefully chosen to create the right atmosphere at your event. See our Song List.
